Chi Chi DeVayne was a drag queen hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, in the United States. Drag queen is a word for the males who uses drag clothing and make-up to imitate females for the sake of entertainment. Chi-Chi became popular internationally after the release of the eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, similarly, after the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Prior to DeVayne’s debut on the Drag Race, she was popular but locally, in and around her native place, i.e., Shreveport.

How did Chi Chi DeVayne die?
Chi Chi was a famous drag queen, known for her outspoken character in shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race, which gave him popularity and international recognition. And then, there was no going back. DeVayne used to perform at various levels as a kid, and her talents were assessed by her family, fortunately at a very young age. This talented artist left us on August 20, 2020, at the age of 34. It was in 2018 when DeVayne was diagnosed with scleroderma. It is a disease that results in changes to the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and internal organs. It is an autoimmune disease. Later in 2020, she succumbed to a bout of pneumonia which was contracted due to her stay in hospital for the treatment of kidney failure, which was caused due to scleroderma. She informed her fans through Instagram on August 15 that she was in the hospital and asked to pray for her well-being. Since her kidney failure, she was succumbed to pneumonia. DaVayne’s friends and co-stars were highly devastated with this news. They kept on posting long condolences and shared some of her memories with everyone.
